Coriander Seed

All those memories lost were sacred to me
My love is not fake, I’ll prove it—you’ll see!
I want it the way it was, that’s where I want to be.
Yet, I must move forward with joy and glee.

New expressions to show
New places to go
Reflections from the past
Disappear so fast

Stops to make…          Must keep on moving
Precautions to take…  Others watch what I’m doing
I will not be the butt-end of the joke in this tale!
There must be something good happening─I will travail!

Places to go and people to see,
I must be the best form of me.
Goals to accomplish and things to do
The only thing that is missing is you.

This is a powerful and thoughtfully written piece that captures the tension between honoring the past and choosing to move forward with intention. The emotional honesty, paired with resilience and self-awareness, makes the message both relatable and compelling. It’s a reminder that growth often requires courage, reflection, and the strength to keep moving—even when something deeply meaningful is left behind.
